HELPING PEOPLE FIND THEIR WAY BACK TO GOD
We’ve seen the transformation hundreds of times – people who came to us full of doubt and uncertainty become secure in the knowledge of their rightful place in God’s great kingdom. The change may start slowly – in a Bible Study class or choir participation, perhaps – but once it begins, it picks up speed. The good works, shared experiences, time spent in prayer – all bring us closer to our highest calling.
Take the first step toward personal renewal – join us for services this weekend!
Dear saints at First Presbyterian Church, your prayers are requested for the following individuals:
Please lift up Dutch Mann and his family in your prayers as his father, Doug Mann, passed away unexpectedly early this morning while recovering from surgery. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus!
Please pray for Martha Carlton who fell at home and suffered a broken arm on Friday; and for Ron Jacobson who had neck surgery yesterday — that God will provide quick and complete healing for them!
Please also pray for Ann Pepper who will have foot surgery tomorrow, that there will be no complications and for a quick and complete recovery as well!
The Congregational Care Team is looking for twelve (12) people to help out with Sunday pick-up and drop-off at the Oaks Assisted Living — one person for each month of the year. Also, some of our home-bound church members could use some regular visits — a visit per month for 30 minutes or less would be greatly appreciated. If you are willing to help in either of these great opportunities, please call Elder Edith Wildt at
